About Me

Planting Roots in Roswell

I grew up in the Alpharetta area, and in 2020, my wife Corinne and I planted our roots in Roswell—buying our first home during the first week of COVID. It’s since become the foundation for our family and our future.

In 2024, we welcomed our first child, Chris Jr.—also known as CJ (or The Siege). As our family has grown, so has our love for this city. We spend weekends walking Roswell’s parks and enjoying the local restaurants that make this community special.

We also have two rescue dogs, Peter and Bolo, and a rescue cat, Kitty. They’ve taken on the important job of helping raise CJ—teaching him patience, boundaries, and gentle hands.

From 2021 to 2023, I served as Roswell’s IT Director. That role gave me a deeper understanding of city operations and a real appreciation for public service.  It deepened my connection to Roswell and grew into a genuine love for serving the people who call this city home.

Proven Leadership & Professional Expertise

I’ve been trusted to manage over a billion dollars in annual spend at a Fortune 50 company—leading complex negotiations, driving efficiency, and delivering real savings. Just this year alone, my team identified over $20 million in cost reductions, with zero head count reduction.

I’ve worn many hats: data scientist, systems analyst, process improvement leader, procurement expert, and IT professional. This broad experience helps me connect the dots, solve problems, and improve how organizations run.

From 2021 to 2023, I served as the IT Director for the City of Roswell. I was responsible for safeguarding citizen data, overseeing day-to-day business systems, and running 24/7 technology operations to ensure Police, Fire, and EMS never experienced downtime. During my time in the role, I also led efforts to modernize outdated systems and reduce operational costs—proving that local government can be both efficient and effective.

In both the public and private sectors, I’ve built a reputation for delivering results, improving critical processes, and putting people first.

My Approach to Leadership

I lead with principles—and I’m not afraid to speak truth to power when it’s the right thing to do. Leadership isn’t about politics or headlines—it’s about doing what works, grounded in facts.

I’m deeply data-driven. I don’t guess or assume—I dig into the numbers, challenge assumptions, and make decisions based on real outcomes. Data cuts through the noise and keeps us accountable.

But data alone isn’t enough. I also lead with empathy—listening first, understanding different perspectives, and making sure people feel heard before moving forward.

I believe in over-communicating at every stage—before, during, and after decisions are made. Everyone deserves a chance to give input and stay informed. Building buy-in early helps ensure better results later.

And I believe in strong, repeatable processes. Good systems don’t rely on exceptions or special cases—they create clarity, reduce waste, and deliver consistent results.
